Cocotier Du Rocher

Cocotier is a special place that you'd be foolish to not consider for your stay in La Digue. Before I talk about the property, I want to talk about the level of service provided by Stephan and his staff. They are as top notch as it gets. If you ask for something, not only does it happen, it happens quickly. The level of service rivals that of brand name luxury hotels that we have stayed at. It was impressive to say the least. As for the property, it's well maintained and full of beautiful flora. It was close enough to the downtown area to be convenient but far enough to be quiet and private. The room was very clean and refreshed daily. Plenty of hot water, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the bed was comfortable. Overall, it was the ideal spot but what really made it was Stephan. I really can't say enough about how he treated us during our stay and how it contributed to an amazing stay on the island. You won't regret staying here!!!

A peaceful tropical escape in La Digue 🌴 We had such a lovely stay at this guest house! The room was cleaned daily, and they even washed the dishes for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. The lush tropical garden surrounding the property made it feel like a little sanctuary — perfect for relaxing in the garden chairs or having a peaceful meal at the outdoor dining table. The kitchen was well-equipped and really handy for anyone who wants to cook their own meals. The location is also great — if you have a bike, it’s an easy ride to the center of La Digue and all the main beaches. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. When we asked if we could have a BBQ, they brought it over straight away. They also surprised us with fresh tropical fruits and coconuts, which made our stay feel even more special. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a peaceful, nature-filled stay with warm hospitality. 🌺

Cocotier du Rocher is an absolute awesome!!. The property is stunning—lush, tropical, and beautifully maintained, offering a peaceful, secluded feel while still being just minutes from some of the best beaches in the world. The bungalow was spotless, spacious, and tastefully decorated with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Stephan is an exceptional host—warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. He made our stay even more memorable. If you get the chance to visit La Digue, I highly recommend staying here. It’s the perfect mix of comfort, charm, and true island hospitality. Would return in a heartbeat!

Great hospitality by Kawar and team. The guest house is located very close to some nice takeaway food places. Rooms are clean and have lush green view of the plants and trees around.

We’re so happy we chose Cocotier du Rocher! The place is absolutely beautiful – the bungalow is tastefully furnished, and the garden feels like a tropical paradise full of colorful flowers, little geckos, and adorable cats. Everything is spotless (especially the bathroom), and everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. You can really feel the wonderful service mindset – someone might bring you a fresh coconut, or bicycles are arranged within minutes. The daily room cleaning (even including the dishes!) is a great bonus. In short: a truly amazing place to stay that we can highly recommend!
