Chalet Bamboo Vert

We had 5 nights in Chalet Bamboo Vert, and enjoyed it a lot. All appartments have own bathrooms. The superior room is spacious, the bed wide, the AC works well, there was a fridge and the possibility to make tea or coffee (refilled daily). The area is well maintained. Sometimes a tortoise visits the garden. The terrace has comfy chairs, a large clothesline and mosquito smoke is provided. Note that the roosters make some noise in the early morning. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Also the dinner was worth every cent. The tables were laid beautifully, there is a different menu every night, where you can order everything if you like. At times, the food had fine dining quality, like the salad with smoked marlin. The room was cleaned every day. Sheets and towels should have been changed all three days, which didn't happen. It would be nice if there would be a table and 2 chairs in the room. All staff was very helpful and friendly. Santosi is the heart and soul of this place. Thanks for the nice conversations, and taking so well care of us. We'd definitely return.

We had a pleasant 3 night stay in this hotel. Facilities are generally in a good state of mainteinance and the staff is very friendly and helps you in everything you need. The room is averagely sized and the bed is comfortable, we slept quite well. The omelette and pancakes for breakfast are great, while the buffet can be largely improved. Overall it was a pleasant stay and I might come back one day.

We stayed here for a week during our honey moon. We loved the place that was amazing, the room was always perfectly clean and decorated with flowers. The staff was cordial and always available for any kind of help, a special thanks to Santosi, who cuddled us with many smiles and kindness. Also the food was delicious. We are not easy customers since we are both vegetarian and my wife is lactose intolerant, but the chef always managed to make something greasy and delicious to us. In our room there were not mosquito nets at windows and at the door, only on the bed. Since the place is surrounded by a lot of green we kept everything closed to avoid the insect entering in the room. This was partially mitigated by the AC in the room, but we would have preferred otherwise.

Really lovely guest house. Service was always nice and friendly. Good breakfast. Bike rental for 75 SCR/day. Only down point for me is the unnecessary turtle pen, way too small and just… why?

We arrived from the ferry terminal within 5 min with the taxi provided by the accommodation and were just perfect . Great location. I was particularly impressed by the professionalism which has significantly improved my daily routine. The best choice we made , it's a 5-star on every single aspect. Staff was professional, patient, and truly listened to our needs. They went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly from start to finish.
