We really enjoyed our stay at Chloes Cottage. The room was nice, with refrigerator, A/C, big bathroom with shower and bath. Furthermore there is a really nice terrace with views to the green garden, with a table and chairs, were the breakfast is served. We rent bikes from the very first day and they were in really good condition. It is the best way to get to know the island. There are some take away and supermarkets close. However I will recommend, at least one time, to eat dinner by Chloe‘s Cottage. The food was amazing and the price was fair, especially in comparisson to the restaurants. But the most important thing was the treat that we received from Gladis, her husband and the other employees. They were really nice and help us with everything. The last day we had to leave early to take the ferry and Gladis’ husband came all the way to the harbour to bring us some sandwiches and fruits, because we did not have time to eat breakfast!! They were lovely!

Our stay was really great. Chloes Cottage is run by a couple and they are both very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with the bike and it was repaired within a few minutes. Also the breakfast is great. All you need (different fruit platter every day, fruit Juice, toast, jam, tea, coffee, eggs, sweet dessert,...) and it was really nice eating it on the veranda in front of the room. Also the pick up from the ferry was perfectly organized. I can definitely recommend Chloes Cottage.

Hosts are warm and welcoming! We were served fresh fruit platters and fresh fruit juice on arrival. Breakfast was delicious. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The self catering facilities are very good. We enjoyed the outside deck area where we were able to relax and enjoy our meals. A wide selection of bikes to hire was available. Although away from town, it was quiet and just what we needed. We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this beautiful guesthouse. Many thanks.

At first there was a bit of a mix up with our reservation and we were diverted to another hotel right around the corner for two nights. For our trouble we got transportation to and from the ferry and two days of biking for free which was a good compromise for us. Chloe's Cottage itself is a very comfy and quiet place and the people working there are forthcoming and exceptionally friendly. We had booked the breakfast which was very nice. We highly recommend this place for a stay on La Digue.

We were delighted of our stay. The place is a bit remote (but everything easy to access with the bike), what allow to be surrounded by a nice vegetation and noiseless place. Staff were welcoming and kind. We recommend the breakfast and use the bike rental (don’t hesitate to specified that you don’t want the old rusted one if proposed but the new one). Transfert from the harbor with them is a must considering the path not really luggage friendly. Only point of improvement in our room, the microwave & oven were not working well, maybe consider the upgrade rooms if you are not planning to use takeaway.
