Glacis Heights Villa

We really liked the view from the villa. The breakfasts were amazing from the terrace, our room was comfortable and equipped even for a longer stay. There is also a supermarket right at the entrance. And Brian is an amazing host, which highlights your stay here. He really cares about his quests and do everything to make your vacating relaxing, joyful and very pleasant. And the little beach right across the street is really nice and great for snorkeling.

Brian and his staff have been very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and can be selected the evening before. Everything was fresh. The location is good, but the hill to get there can be difficult! If you arrive by car, you might turn off your AC and switch to manual and 1st gear. A little beach is on the other side of the road with nice sunsets. Also, a supermarket is right next to the beach. Beau Vallon beach with takeaways, shops etc is just 5 minutes by car but a bit too far to walk. Our apartment was simple but well equipped with kitchen and washing machine and 2 good working ACs. We also got bread and eggs to start. It would be nice to have a basis equipment for cooking like spices and oil,so you don't have to buy a full bottle of oil etc for a few days. Brian also runs a car rental which is very helpful and we were picked up from the airport. Brian is always there for a chat and was very helping about activities around the island.

Retrying this review as my prior posting appears to not have taken. My wife and stayed for 2 nights starting October 18, 2023. A wonderful experience. The rooms were very nice. Great views from the veranda. Nice breakfast and Brian and staff were very accommodating. Brian drove us on a number of occasions as we were new to walking on the narrow roads of Mahe. There is a nice mini-mart at the bottom of the hill and a great restaurant on the ocean within walking distance. There is a nice beach just across the road. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit this hotel again.

The villa is situated not too close to Beau Vallon making it nice and quiet but yet also very accessible to Beau Vallon by buses that frequent often. There are buses that frequent to Victoria and Beau Vallon from right outside the villa. The rooms are clean and well kept with stunning views. The breakfast spread is simply brilliant with lovely fruits crepes and eggs made fresh every morning. The pool has the best view and is always kept clean. We had some great heartfelt conversations with Brian that went out of the way to make our stay pleasant and we felt very at home at the villa. Najid the caretaker at the villa was the sweetest taking care of our every need while we were there and keeping the villa spotless. The beach opposite the villa is to die for and can be enjoyed at any time. Vimal supermarket right down the hill is great to pick up stuff too. Looking forward to staying here again soon!

Our stay was simply perfect. Glacis Heights Villa is located close to the most beautiful beaches on the island of Mahé. The rooms are very nice, clean, and well-maintained, and the staff is exceptional. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful — the perfect way to start the day.
