Pension Hibiscus is a guesthouse located in Anse Reunion on La Digue Island, Seychelles. Established in 2009 by Jennita Socrate Bonaparte, a La Digue native with over 25 years of hospitality experience, it offers a tranquil retreat amidst the island's natural beauty.
The guesthouse comprises two separate houses, Maison Alice and Maison Eliza, providing a total of five air-conditioned rooms. Each room features a private bathroom, and four are equipped with full kitchens for self-catering. Rooms are ideal for couples or small families, with options for larger groups through interconnected rooms.
Connected “double” rooms are also possible for larger families or for couples traveling together. Jennita’s guest-oriented touches are seen in the exceptionally fresh and spotlessly clean rooms of Pension Hibiscus. Her personality is shown in the fully equipped kitchens provided in four of the five rooms.
As an accomplished cook herself, Jennita knows that a “full” kitchen includes far more than mere dishes, one or two pots, and a few pieces of cutlery. At Pension Hibiscus, a sizable range of pots and pans (with covers) is provided for all cooking needs with essential extras such as a corkscrew, peeler, cutting knives, mixing spoons, and other necessary – but often neglected – cooking items.
Pension Hibiscus is conveniently located just minutes from Anse La Reunion beach and within easy reach of local amenities such as restaurants, markets, a bakery, bank/ATM, ferries, and boutiques.
For leisure, a variety of activities are available, including bicycle rentals, island tours, and excursions to nearby beaches and attractions. The guesthouse's serene environment and attentive service make it an ideal base for exploring the unique and stunning beauty of La Digue.
