Villa Authentique

As a seychelloise who were looking forward for Ladigue biggest festivals on the 15th Aug, to say the least im just dissapointed with the room we got. Literally 1500SCR per night its not even worth it. They were expecting us the room was hot and it felts like it was cleaned or refreshed a couple days ago. The spider cob webs was ready to welcome us. The lizard 🦎 feces was just there as if waiting for us to clean, no towel was there, no kettle no mini bar fridge (which this one i know was out of their control) , the room is stuffed with dusted... and to say that some of the staff faces is not welcoming at all.

Very cute hotel owner, we really liked her and she made out stay quite nice all in all. The atmosphere is really ok, and the other gests were really friendly and nice. You live very close to others, since it’s so small, and that also contributes to the nice and friendly atmosphere. The rooms were unfortunately not very nice. We had ants there. There was no hand soap available, and the room atmosphere is really cheap. Though we slept pretty ok, so it’s really just a ok place to sleep and be out at the beaches all day. Our bed were cleaned everyday and we rented some nice bicycles for 100 rupis per day. La Digue was a very cosy little island and this is a cheap way to stay if you just need a bed and thats it. I did not like the breakfast, but it’ll get you through to lunch. Just 5 min walking from the Ferry terminal.

Beautiful place to stay , walking distance from the jetty as well as nearby pubs and supermarkets. Special thanks to the host who was one of the sweetest person we have ever met in Seychelles she took care of everything right from the room to even arranging for discounted bicycles…

We stayed for 3 nights (16-19 Oct) and had mixed expectations having read some other reviews, but overall were pleasantly surprised. We stayed in room 3 which we found to be clean and had all the things we’d expect. Rooms were made each day and the staff on site were all pleasant and welcoming each time we bumped into them. The only real drawback for us was that the hotel sits directly opposite a farm, so when sitting in the outdoor restaurant for breakfast, you are eating with the smell of farm animals. The food at breakfast was otherwise in line with standard breakfast offerings in the Seychelles (ie, eggs, toast, fruits and tea). A short walk to the town centre and on-site bike rental for 150SCR per day. All things considered, we would stay again.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location couldn’t be better – everything I needed was just a short walk away, which made exploring the area incredibly convenient. The staff were genuinely friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Sarat was an amazing host — he helped us with absolutely everything and made our stay even more enjoyable. The overall vibe of the place was warm, relaxed, and welcoming, making me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. I would definitely choose this hotel again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great experience.
