Silhouette Island, located about 20 kilometres northwest of Mahé, is the third-largest island of the Seychelles and one of its most pristine natural environments.
More than 90% of the island is protected as a national park, preserving its dense tropical forests, rugged mountains, and remarkable biodiversity. Silhouette is home to several endemic species of plants and animals that cannot be found anywhere else in the world.
The island’s highest peak, Mount Dauban, rises to 740 metres and offers adventurous hikers spectacular views across the surrounding islands and the Indian Ocean.
Silhouette has only one small village, La Passe, where a traditional Seychellois community still lives. The island has no major roads and very little development, giving visitors the rare opportunity to experience Seychelles in a nearly untouched state.
Beautiful coral reefs surround the island, making it a popular destination for snorkeling and diving. Colourful fish, sea turtles, and vibrant coral gardens thrive in the protected waters.
For travellers seeking tranquillity, nature, and exclusivity, Silhouette Island offers a truly unique escape.
